Internet at home has been down since yesterday. I'm here at Powerplant, making use of their slow, mall-wide, free wifi. There's so many people here. I keep forgetting - it's the weekend already. Have fun people! :)
Now, I'm off to the grocery to buy ingredients. I'm cooking another Mexican dish for dinner.
(keeping my fingers crossed that internet will be back up when I get home.)
Since I'm so behind on my posts, let me do 4 movies in one :) The Proposal Seen with: eD and Jason (trio date w/ my bf and gf) This is the first of the four movies we watched in a span of two weeks. It wasn't too keso-ish, not a tear jerker either (That's a first for me.) I couldn't remember much about it except that I wanted to have a house like that in Sitka (then later I found out it was shot in Bearskin Neck, Rockport in Massachusetts - yes, I googled it) and
that orange Birkin Sandra was babying..
and this guy I'm gonna baby..
Forget his abs with that smile. * blush*
Okay, I take that back. Next!
The Orphan Seen with: eD, Sofhia, Nico, Jason and Tan (I had to summon my friends so I'd have the courage.)
So it wasn't a horror flick - that didn't keep me from covering my eyes. It was too twisted for me. I couldn't take it that a kid would can do such things and how Esther can manipulate people. I literally wanted to walk out of the movie and just wait in Coffee Bean, but eD was having too much fun. It was a good psycho thriller movie. I loved the twist and how it is not similar to other thrillers that I've watched before. I heard Leonardio DiCaprio produced it. Am I right? If you missed watching it on theaters, go get it on DVD. Close the lights and enjoy. :)
But she looks oh so cute, off cam.
Just like a normal, little, hollywood gal..
The Hangover Seen with: eD (Saturday night date, which would be better if we watched it with friends.)
What planned to be as a Saturday date night turned both eD and I missing the guys. We wanted to visit Jj in Vegas, like now na. I got scared thinking of what might happen to eD's or Jj's bachelor's party. Yikes. The characters were played by eD, Jj, Tantan and Jason. It's up to you guys to decide which is Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug :P It was hilarious. I couldn't get over it - laughing at the shallowest detail (bakit may manok?) I couldn't stop talking about it in the car til we met up with Jason and Alane at Chris' birthday party at Shang. We did 'Shot!' butsadly, no hangover. Oh, and he's hot too. U think?
I'm tired.. Fourth movie to follow tomorrow. I'm sure you'll love Derek. Nyty.
If you want to spend money during payday weekend..
This might be the perfect time to go visit the new Eastwood Mall. I haven't been around there for a little over a year now. (Except during the wee hours to go to Manor and Circa. Hehe.)
I'm not too sure if Fujifilm is the first one to release 3D cameras, but I'd love to get one. Other brands will definitely release their own crazier versions. Probably a Sony with 5 lenses or whatever. I'm not a techie, camera person. What I know, point and shoot. :P See sample pic. Be sure to hover your mouse around the picture. Isn't it cool? It would be perfect for our upcoming Hong Kong - Macau trip. Teehee.
Right now, I feel lazy to research how much it costs. Any thoughts?
I was just supposed to watch the cortege from the balcony of eD's condo. As I waited while watching the coverage of ABS CBN, anticipation settled in. We then decided to grab our umbrellas and brave the rain. We walked to the Buendia flyover and had a perfect top view of the whole cortege. It was overwhelming and then you realize that indeed, you are a proud Filipino. No need to go into the nitty gritty of what she had done for us, I'm sure all of you already know.. :)
On my ongoing quest to cook Mexican dishes, eD chose a harder dish this time. Beef Enchilada. In the middle of making the taco sauce, I was already discouraged because the dish didn't smell good. It didn't look good either. Judgement came..
It took only two meals for him to finish the entire dish. Twas supposed to be good for 4.
The last serving.. So I guess it was yummy after all, but I'm not stopping there. I'd like to perfect this dish because eD loved it! Practice, practice, practice. I'm not discouraged to try and cook new dishes too. I'm just hoping to find the perfect food processor to make chopping veggies faster.
